Surprising though it might be to anyone that has followed our work at all, this project is the first one for which we were given a half way decent budget.


Even though there was a 40% shortfall in that budget, we were able to fill the gaps by wearing many hats, not taking payment for many of them, and by investing our own salaries to make sure that the company was fed, watered, and well taken care of.


In real terms the project was perhaps too successful in that it made us a threat to the established few and led, indirectly at least, to us being marginalised ever since.


At the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, we were hailed, by a national critic (they take theatre very seriously there, so it was a real accolade!) as one of the two most interesting projects in the entire festival of some 300 shows!
